Mixed Berry Smoothie
What a way to start the day. Boost your mood, immune system and power your brain with this simple smoothie recipe. Make this recipe with either fruit juice or milk or plant based alternatives Tip : Use Frozen fruit to make a cooler smoothie but make sure it is chopped up small !
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Blackcurrants
- 4 or 5 Raspberies chopped
- 1 or 2 Strawberries chopped
- 4 or 5 Blackberries chopped
- 1 tsp Chia seeds
- 200ml Apple Juice or cranberry Juice or instead of fruit juice use milk or plant based alternatives like almond milk, coconut milk
Instructions
- Fil the machine with 200ml of fruit juice or milk whichever you are going to use
- Add your fruit - make sure it is chopped up small especially if you are using frozen fruit
- Add Chia seeds for extra protein ( optional )
- Connect to power supply and attach the lid making sure the shape of the lid aligns with the shape of the cup
- When the lid is attached correctly, The machine will stop beeping
- Use the function button to select the 'Juice' Function on the machine. when the Juice function lights up , press the start button
- There is no cooking in this process just blending. The machine will blend 3 cycles and beep 3 times when finished
- When the program is finished pour out your smoothie and enjoy!
