How long does it take to make smooth soup?
From start to finish the smooth soup program will cook and then blend your ingredients in around 18-19 minutes.
How long does it take to make chunky soup?
The chunky soup program will gently heat your ingredients without blending so you can retain your chunks of vegetables. The program takes 24 mins.
What does the ‘Blend’ function do ?
The Blend function will provide a burst of ten seconds of blending – Ideal if you want to add some texture to your chunky soup
Can I cook meat in the machine?
We recommend that you use cooked meats for soup. Ideal for pea and ham soup or leftover chicken and vegetable soup
How do you make smoothies in the machine?
You can make smoothies by using the ‘Juice’ function . Simply add fresh or frozen fruit, add juice or milk and select the Juice function. The Juice function does not heat the ingredients, it simply blends to a smooth consistency.

Can I use frozen fruit for smoothies ?
Yes, frozen fruit makes nice cold smoothies but make sure the fruit is chopped into small pieces ( sometimes larger fruit like strawberries can be vey hard ). There are some great smoothie mixes available in the frozen section of many supermarkets
Can I put ice in the machine ?
No. We do not recommend that you use ice in the machine.
Can I use my own stock for soups?
Yes! Experiment and make your soup the way you like it
Can I use shop bought stock?
yes we recommend you make 200ml of stock per serving. You could use half a stock cube or half a stock pot made up with water.
Can I use plant based milks for smoothies ?
Yes of course, we have some fun recipes on our website and in the recipe book
Where are the blades located ?
The stainless steel blades are located in the base of the cup
Is it easy to clean?
Yes! There is a clean function built in which will loosen any remnants of cooking to make it easier to rinse. We have also provided a little brush for cleaning around the blades.
