Banana Smoothie

Bananas are a rich source of potassium. They're great for your immune system, mental health and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Ingredients

  • 1 small Banana mashed
  • 1 tbsp Greek plain yoghurt
  • 100ml Milk or plant based alternative ( coconut, almond, oat)
  • A little Vanilla extract (You can omit the vanilla extract if you’re using vanilla Greek yogurt)

Instructions

  1. This will make one glass of smoothie using the Just Me soup maker
  2. For a sweeter smoothie, use ripe bananas. Place the fruit, and milk or liquid inside inside the machine along with the vanilla extract. Optional :Add a 1/2 a teaspoon of ground flax seeds or chia seeds to add more fibre and other nutrients.
  3. Switch on the power. Attach the lid making sure the shape of the lid is aligned with the shape of the cup. When the lid is aligned correctly the lights will stop flashing.
  4. Gently press the function button so the light moves around to the 'Juice' program. Make your selection by pressing the start button
  5. The program will not cook the ingredients but will provide series of blending cycles.
  6. When the program is finished the machine will beep 3 times. carefully remove the lid and pour out your smoothie
  7. Add more liquid to reach your desired consistency
  8. Serve immediately
